By Robert Laporte, Founder – Neutopia EcoSolutions Inc.

As we enter 2026, I want to pause for a moment of reflection — and gratitude.

For 17 years, Neutopia has traveled across Canada and around the world to redesign how communities produce, use, and benefit from clean, reliable energy. Many of you have heard me say I’ve traveled over 1 million kilometers doing this work. The website shows a fraction of those journeys, but you all know those photos barely represent 1% of what we’ve actually done.

Despite the obstacles, despite the delays outside our control, despite the bureaucracy — you stayed with us.
You believed in us long before the world cared about sustainability. You trusted us when we were creating
concepts that did not exist anywhere else.

And for that, I am deeply grateful.

Thank You — To Every Community We Served

Thank you to:

  • community leaders across Ontario and Canada
  • the mining companies, critical-minerals projects, and oil sands teams
  • industrial clients and manufacturing partners
  • farms, greenhouses, and food producers
  • long-term care homes and health facilities
  • resort owners, hospitality operators, and remote communities
  • and the homeowners who let us test ideas inside their living rooms

You supported us through delays caused by:

  • utility interconnection queues
  • government processing bottlenecks
  • subcontractor issues
  • global supply-chain interruptions
  • funding program suspensions
  • and the countless challenges of attempting innovative change in a system designed not to change

Thank you for your patience. Thank you for your loyalty. Thank you for believing in a better future.

Announcing a New Era for 2026

After nearly two decades of development, testing, education, and field work, we are proud to announce:

Neutopia has entered a development affiliation with a strategic partner, LEDIC.

This launches a new national clean-infrastructure program, with:

  • Over $3.6 billion in development projects
  • Active opportunities across multiple provinces
  • The first licensing of our ERS™ (Efficiency, Resilience & Sustainability) System
  • A national expansion that requires zero taxpayer money
  • Zero government applications and zero utility-company delays for host sites to engage
  • Government participation is allowed, communities absolutely may engage and benefit from site evaluations and actual development. WE DO NOT DO STUDIES. The time for studies is over.  We do active development; real projects, real opportunities, real integration of technologies and processes.
This is the first time Canadians will see a fully integrated, privately managed, large-scale sustainability
framework that can be deployed immediately, without waiting months or years for approval. In fact, we’re so excited to release our videos in 2026 with host site owners sharing their stories; $500K within days of signing. That’s just unheard of, even in real estate. It’s a completely new way of doing business, and a new way of developing projects period. It’s every banks dream, every homeowner and business owner’s dream, and perhaps most importantly a giant welcome to every community leader who has ever complained about how slow existing processes are. Money in the bank and feet on the ground within days. Boom.

A Wave of New Jobs & New Opportunities

This influx of mega-projects comes with an influx of major investment.

In 2026, we will begin:

  • Hiring Provincial Managers across every province
  • Onboarding hundreds of new Ambassadors
  • Establishing regional development teams
  • Launching national training sessions
  • Partnering with educational institutions once again

Our Ambassador model — tested over 17 years — is returning with full force.
We remain truly grateful to the many colleges and universities that gave us a platform to teach sustainability,
innovation, and entrepreneurship, and especially Humber College, Canada’s largest college,
which went further and allowed students to earn academic credit working with us on real projects.

This hands-on collaboration with engineers, students, and community leaders helped shape the foundation of what
we are launching today. And special thanks to Yonsei University who, as far back as 2012, worked so hard with us to try to launch Canada’s first Green Scholarship program, only to be turned away by local bureacracy, leaving me feeling so disappointed in our own system. It was a scholarship program from a Canadian company; we beat Google, Apple, Facebook, Microsoft, and even any local big business. We did it. And it fell apart due to local politics. Well guess what, that’s changing once again with our 2026 Initiative.

Change is not a door that opens.
Change is a wall — and innovators must be willing to break through it.

That is why our Laporte Impact Group is so innovative and will be leading a completely new national program
unlike anything that has ever been presented.

New National Initiatives

Without revealing confidential details, here are some of the initiatives we will be rolling out in 2026:

🏞
100 EcoParks Across Canada Initiative
Clean-energy hubs for communities, farms, resorts, and industry.
🏡
100,000 Connected Green Homes Program
Net-zero-ready homes integrated with our ERS™ System.
☀️
100,000 Home Solar Upgrade Wave
Forget “cashback solar.” Solar is a small part; the ERS™ System is what makes it powerful.
🏙
Community Resiliency Network
Local microgrids, backup systems, and emergency hubs.
🏭
Industrial Modernization Program
Cutting operating costs across factories, food plants, logistics and more.
🏥
Health & Long-Term Care Energy Initiative
Better resilience, lower costs, safer facilities.
🌾
Agricultural & Mega-Greenhouse Modernization
Reducing energy intensity in food production with advanced systems.

Mining & Critical Minerals Modernization
Supporting the next wave of clean metals and industrial efficiency.
🏚
New Sustainable Housing Development Model
Combining the best of existing programs with our philanthropy arm for next-generation housing.
🪶
First Nations & Community Infrastructure Accelerator
Immediate acceptance, one-page approval, one Zoom meeting. Zero government applications.

Seventeen Years of Breaking Down Walls

Looking back, some of our earliest projects still inspire me:

  • A small town near Brockville, Ontario, where we solved the landfill problem in one meeting — only to discover the waste industry resisted diversion because they feared losing tipping-fee revenue.
  • The world’s first Green Mining EcoPark concept for the Ring of Fire — solving energy, transport, resiliency, and First Nations engagement challenges that others said were impossible. Turned away by internal politics and fear of change.
  • A prestigious High Rise Condo Tower project in Toronto — where over $1.2 million in annual energy savings were rejected by internal politics.
  • Community Housing — where an innovative sustainability proposal disappeared due to internal politics.
  • A First Nations community that required three months of wording changes just to fit into federal templates, only to see the projects go dormant due to delays and lack of funding.
  • Thirteen Phase 1 ecoPark approvals in one evening by a municipal council — a moment nearly lost to time.

These experiences gave birth to our greatest achievement:

The ERS™ System — one of the most valuable ESG frameworks ever created for real-world projects.

And now, after 17 years, it enters its first licensing agreement — at a scale none of us could have imagined:

$3.6 billion in active development projects.

I am so happy my parents are still here to witness all of this.

Ongoing Projects & Our Host Sites

We still have a wide range of projects ongoing at various stages, and while my personal time has been pulled
into building this new national framework, we will now have far more power to effectively deal with ESA,
utilities, permitting, and other issues that have plagued even the smallest of development projects.

To all of our host sites: thank you for your patience.

A Better Way for New Housing & Community Projects

Another initiative we are launching is our New Housing Initiative, which combines the best of
existing programs with our philanthropic arm to enable exceptional development on bare land, new housing,
and housing expansions.

Forget HELOC loans or complex application cycles — there is a better framework being launched and already
available to select parties.

We are also launching our own Community Infrastructure & Support Programs for seniors and
for First Nations communities. I was reminded recently that when one First Nations community expressed interest,
it took over three months of back-and-forth just to fit the wording into Ottawa’s boxes — only to have
months of delays and no funding.

So we are launching our own program with massive private funding.

Every community is immediately accepted.
Approval takes one page and less than an hour.
One Zoom meeting. Zero government applications.

Seventeen Years in the Field (A Glimpse)

Our website photos barely show one percent of the work we’ve done, but here is a small glimpse to honour
the journey so far:

EcoPark / industrial site
Resort / campground visit
Mining / critical-minerals site
Farm / greenhouse project
College / university lecture
Community / town hall meeting
First Nations engagement
Residential installation & visits

(These are placeholders — we will be updating this section with real project photos throughout 2026.)

The Launch Event — Coming Soon

In early 2026, we will host a national event inspired by Apple Launch Days — a high-energy, high-impact
celebration of the future of Canadian sustainability.

Think: AC/DC meets sustainability. The most exciting sustainability company you’ve never
heard of is about to get much, much louder.

We will unveil new projects, new partnerships, new regions, and a roadmap that will change the trajectory
of Canada’s energy future.

Closing Message

To everyone who believed in us:

Thank you. From the smallest residential client to the largest mining operation — from community leaders
to engineers, farmers, and students — from our early supporters to our newest partners —

This next chapter belongs to all of us.

The future we worked so hard for is finally here.
